Terms of service

The terms governing your use of DropShop BD, seller obligations, storefront rules, payments and account termination.

Last updated: 23 September 2026

1. Agreement

By creating a DropShop BD account you agree to these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • One store per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • You must provide accurate business and contact information.

3. Selling on 1shop.bd

Products you publish appear on your public storefront under your brand name. You are the merchant of record: product accuracy, legality, pricing and customer service are your responsibility.

  • No counterfeit, restricted or illegal goods.
  • Prices must be shown in BDT inclusive of any applicable charges you set.
  • We may unpublish content that breaches these terms, as described in section 7.

4. Payments and fees

Cash on delivery, bKash and Nagad are collected by you or your courier partner. Subscription fees, where applicable, are billed in taka in advance and are non-refundable except as set out in our refund policy.

5. Suppliers, sourcing and delivery

Supplier catalogue data and courier quotes are provided by third parties. We surface them accurately but do not guarantee stock, lead times or delivery outcomes.

  • DropShop does not finance, advance or prepay supplier or product costs to CJdropshipping, Printful or any other supplier.
  • You can sell your own products on DropShop today, within your plan's product limit.
  • Product sourcing on your behalf is assisted, not fully automated. Requests are subject to review and availability; where we accept one, it is typically handled within 7 days. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
  • We place or commit to a supplier order only after the required product/order funds are received and confirmed.
  • CJdropshipping and Printful are integrations available where configured. Automatic customer payment → supplier payment → shipment → settlement is not yet live end to end; those steps are confirmed individually.

5a. Seller payouts

  • Use a payout account in your own verified name. The bank or wallet account holder must match the legal name approved on your DropShop account (or your approved legal business name for a business bank account).
  • Third-party payout accounts, third-party payment gateways and payment instruments belonging to another person or business are not permitted.
  • Where a bank or wallet cannot independently confirm account ownership, we check the account holder name against your approved KYC and review payouts manually.
  • Payouts require full identity verification and an approved payout account in your own (or your registered business's) verified name. Payout details can be saved before KYC approval, but no payout is requested, approved or sent until your KYC is approved by our team and your payout account is verified.
  • KYC is not required to create a store, publish products or take orders; it is required before payouts. When you submit, automated format and consistency checks run immediately. These checks do not prove a document is genuine. Identity approval for payouts is confirmed by our team, typically within 24–48 hours; some reviews take longer when information is incomplete, inconsistent or needs further checks, and anything unusual is reviewed by a person rather than rejected automatically. If we ask for more information, payouts remain unavailable until approval.
  • We may request re-verification after a payout-account change, a material identity or business change, unusual activity or other fraud or risk signals, a legal or compliance requirement, or a periodic risk review. While it is pending we normally pause only risk-sensitive features such as payouts; stronger action is taken only as described in the enforcement section.
  • Payouts are scheduled weekly. Processing, verification, banking or wallet delays may mean funds take up to 14 days to arrive.

6. Acceptable use

  • No attempts to access other sellers' data.
  • No automated abuse of supplier search or public endpoints.
  • No reverse engineering of the platform.

7. Suspension, restriction and termination

In short: DropShop may restrict or close accounts to protect customers, partners and the platform. Immediate action may occur for fraud, security, legal or serious policy concerns. Detailed reasons may not always be disclosed when doing so would compromise an investigation or security controls.

You may close your account at any time.

7.1 When we may act

Subject to applicable law, DropShop may suspend, restrict, limit, freeze or terminate a seller account or store, or any of its features, listings, payouts, integrations or platform access, where we reasonably consider it necessary, including for:

  • suspected fraud, financial risk, or abuse of the platform, customers, couriers, suppliers or partners;
  • prohibited, counterfeit, restricted or illegal goods or activity, or misleading listings;
  • incomplete, inconsistent or unverifiable KYC, or other compliance concerns;
  • legal or regulatory obligations, or a request from a competent authority;
  • chargebacks, payment disputes, or repeated customer complaints;
  • intellectual-property or other third-party rights complaints;
  • security incidents or threats to platform integrity;
  • harmful conduct toward customers, partners or our team;
  • breach of these terms or our published policies;
  • non-payment of fees owed to DropShop; or
  • other legitimate business reasons, applied reasonably and in good faith.

7.2 Notice and appeal

Where practical and lawful, we will tell you about the action and give you an opportunity to fix the issue or ask us to review it by writing to legal@dropshop.bd. We may act without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, safety, risk containment or platform integrity. Advance notice is not a condition of taking action.

7.3 Reasons and evidence

We may withhold specific reasons or evidence where disclosure could compromise fraud detection, security controls or an investigation, reveal confidential information, affect third-party rights, or conflict with our legal or regulatory duties.

7.4 Money after suspension or closure

  • Suspension or termination does not erase legitimate financial obligations on either side. Valid seller balances, refunds, chargebacks, reserves, holds, fees, taxes, customer claims and legally required settlements remain governed by section 5a and applicable law.
  • Closing a store does not by itself forfeit earned seller funds. We may hold or deduct amounts only where a reserve, refund, chargeback, fraud, debt or legal requirement justifies it, and only to the extent it does.
  • Payouts still require approved KYC and a verified payout account in the matching approved name, as set out in section 5a.

7.5 Your rights

Nothing in this section limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived by contract.

8. Liability

The platform is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by Bangladeshi law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding a claim.
