01Open your own CJ account
Register at CJ directly in your own name. Your CJ account is your commercial relationship: your cost, your balance, your fulfilment record. No platform should be sourcing on a shared account on your behalf.
02Get the API key, not the password
This is where most connections fail. CJ's API key is a separate credential generated inside your CJ account — it is not your login password.
In CJ, open My CJ, then Authorization, then API, and generate the key there. Paste that value when connecting, and the connection is verified against CJ before it is saved.

04Paying CJ in dollars, selling in taka
CJ charges you in dollars per order. Your customer pays taka. Every product therefore needs an FX step and a margin before it is listed.

05When CJ is the wrong choice
CJ is weak where speed decides the sale. If your customers expect delivery in two days, sell local ready stock for those products and keep CJ for testing new items and for wider catalogue depth.
